Part 1: Climate management – good practices and lessons learnt
In the first part, our project participants will share their examples and thoughts of climate work practices in the Barents region and what would be needed for more impactful climate management:

Part 2: Discussion about cooperation needs in the Barents climate work
In the second session, climate specialist Tuukka Rautio from North Ostrobothnia Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment will tell about climate change adaptation and risk management. We then invite you to join the discussion about needs and possibilities for cooperation in the Barents climate work.

The event is part of the Barents climate support -project, financed by the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and hosted by Motiva Oy – a state owned sustainable development company. The aim of the project is to find scalable tools for promoting climate management work in the municipalities of Barents region, and to support cooperation and sharing of good practices across the region.
